As the restaurant's FOH team member, you would be responsible for managing the administrative and operational tasks of its front-of-house staff. The FOH manager responsibilities will include training, supervising and managing the following restaurant positions:
**Servers, **Hostesses, **Bartenders and **Custodial staff**

The FOH manager will engage in a variety of duties that relate to the management of font-of-house staff and restaurant processes such as;
- Supervising the serving staff to ensure that they provide high-quality service to customers
- Manage reservations and respond to customer inquiries, either in person or on the phone
- Training hosts, servers and other restaurant staff on restaurant processes and on how to greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Greeting customers as they enter the restaurant and providing them with assistance if the serving staff are busy
- Organizing and implementing work schedules for front-of-house employees
- Ensuring all employees follow the applicable health and safety rules and regulations when handling food and serving customers
- Making sure that the restaurant remains profitable by processing invoices on a daily basis
- Managing suppliers, inventory and cash float
- Working with Chef to recruit and hire new servers, hosts and other food service employees

Matric plus formal hospitality Qualification.

2 years minimum management experience in an upmarket environment.

A positive attitude with a warm welcoming demeanor.

Strong computer and organisational skills

Exceptional communication skills

Ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Self motivated/Driven

Ability to commute
