An exciting opportunity for Reconciliation Officer within Computershare Outsourcing business unit, a division within Computershare responsible for providing back-office administrative services to Stockbrokers. The role is expected to engage with the rest of Outsourcing, as well as external Brokers and Banks. There are various critical time constraints, risks and regulatory consequences of the work the role carries out.

Computershare Outsourcing role operates within this division at a local level and must deliver within strict customer service delivery guidelines. The guidelines include successful delivery within agreed timeframes and quality standards.

The Reconciliation Officer is responsible for the day to day delivery of high quality customer service to various Broking members, ensuring that the day to day processing of bank account recons are reconciled accurately and within the agreed timeframes.

The officer will work closely with team to ensure all client reconciliations is actioned and reviewed in order to meet strict deadlines and service delivery levels. In addition the role holder will also ensure that all items older than two weeks are queried and resolved, the capturing within BDA is accurate and completed timeously as well as adhering to strick rules of the JSE Directive FL

- Manage Reconciliations
- Manage controls and procedures
- Managed self development plan
- Time management
- Resolve all queries timeously
- Acceptance of general work
- Releasing of PACS payments

**What will you bring to the role?**
- Grade 12 certificate
- Business degree or diploma preferred
- 5 - 10 years Stock Broking experience
- Settlement knowledge an advantage
- Knowledge of BDA (JSE system Broker deal accounting)
- Knowledge of the NEOX system, Hyphen system
- Knowledge of Financial Services Industry
- Strategic Thinking
- PC skills - proficient in all aspects of MS Office
