- Our family clients are seeking an au pair to assist their family of 2 Little Ones of 3 years and 18months.
- They are moving to the Cape in March and seek an au pair who will live in (separate cottage) and become part of their family.
- They are a close-knit family who like to be part of their children’s lives when they have gaps in their busy days. Mom and Dad work together. When there is time they like to spend the morning/ afternoon doing an outing with the girls and thus they need the au pair to be flexible.
- ‘Flexible’ to them means to go with the flow of Mom and Dad - in the moment plans might change and the au pair gets her break then as opposed to later in the day/ or next day. They will never overwork the au pair at times there is work on the weekend but you will always get your 2 free days a week.
- They seek an au pair who is a **Professional Au Pair** which means that you are experienced in childcare AND as an au pair She should be;
- Authentic, People Orientated, Upbeat, Happy and Joyful.
- Know who they are and what they want
- Able to be part of a team with Mom & Dad
- Creative with ideas of what to do with the children and to be able to problem solve when something arises.
- LOVE the outdoors, particularly the bush (they go there a lot) and TRAVEL (Mom and Dad want to do this a lot while the kids are still little
- Physically Fit.
- Be present and spontaneous and able to go with the flow and rhythm of the family.
- Have ‘life experience’ - not too young and protected
**TIME**:Mondays to Fridays from 7am to 7pm with 2 hours PLUS break (some weekend swaps particularly when you all travel)
**DESCRIPTION**:
7am get the children dressed and give them breakfast.
Play, Play indoors and outdoors. Bake ,Draw, Swim, Run.
Have a weekly plot and plan around an educational theme that will work for both children.
Get messy with them outdoors.
Prepare & feed them lunch etc
Put them down for naps at appropriate times.
Organise an outing in the mornings or afternoons.
Play-dates is also an option depending on where you all are.
Dinner for the 2 and bath routine etc.
As said before - to go with the flow of the family
