**Working hours**: Monday - Friday: 07h00 - 09h00 and 14h00 - 18h00, Saturday: 4 hours required, flexible on this but generally from 10h00 - 14h00 in winter and 07h00 - 11h00 through the rest of the year.
**School holiday hours**:flexible but 6 hours per day is needed
**Live in or Live out**:option to reside on the property - furnished granny flat with a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen, and its own private entrance

**A family is looking for a LIVE IN or LIVE OUT AU PAIR for their sons aged 5 and 3 years old (very busy and active)**
**Area**:Pearl Valley Estate
**Ages**:sons aged 5 and 3 years old (very busy and active)
**Working hours**: Monday - Friday: 07h00 - 09h00 and 14h00 - 18h00, Saturday: 4 hours required, flexible on this but generally from 10h00 - 14h00 in winter and 07h00 - 11h00 through the rest of the year.
**School holiday hours**:flexible but 6 hours per day is needed
**Live in or Live out**:option to reside on the property - furnished granny flat with a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen, and its own private entrance
**Duties**: Transports the children (in employer’s car) to/from school, to extra murals, birthday parties, play dates etc. Engage in and stimulate the children’s development through educational activities (Montessori style), tailored to the children. Takes the children on active outings on the estate (e.g. bike rides, walks, swimming, playing in the park). Reads to and plays with the children, assists with school projects (e.g. dress up days, show and tell) and when appropriate homework, cooks healthy meals for the children, assist in/run household errands, able travel with the family (domestically/internationally) when required, able to stay with the children whilst the parents travel domestically or internationally. Has an understanding of children’s development, and how to engage with the children in an age-appropriate way to build trust, self-esteem, resilience and prevent meltdowns. Enjoys working with energetic and active boys.

**Start date**: August 2024 start - permanent contract
**Salary: R15 000 per month, car provided for childcare duties**

**All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements**:
**Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
**Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
**Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
**Must have a clear criminal record
**Must have a passion for children
**Must have Matric
**Must have a South African ID document.
