Ecd Centre Support Programme Manager

**Position Overview**

The programme manager is responsible for: planning and designing the programme in line with the organisation’s strategic direction and proactively monitoring its progress as well as developing budgets and operating plans and writing funder reports and proposals.

**Main Job Responsibilities**
- Planning and designing the programme and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective actions.
- Developing and managing a social franchise to support entrepreneurship in the ECD Sector.
- Developing SOPs for all critical programme activities.
- Ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the programme.
- Developing budgets and operating plans for various projects associated with the Programme.
- Managing the programme's budget, monitoring expenditure and costs against contractual obligations.
- Facilitating the appointment of staff to project teams.
- Managing the various project teams operations and performance standards, both locally and provincially.
- Developing an evaluation method to assess programme strengths and identify areas for improvement.
- Writing programme proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services.
- Managing communications with all relevant stakeholders.
- Produce accurate and timely programme and funding reports as contractually required.

**Pre Requisite for the Position**
- A relevant bachelor’s or business management degree.
- Proven experience in programme or project management.
- Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects.
- Sound business case development and approvals skills.
- Strong writing and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s or business management degree.
- 5 Years+ experience in Project Management.

**Job Type**: Temp to perm

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lansdowne, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
