HYGIENE SOLUTIONS COMPANY REQUIRES A DISTRIBUTION - DRIVER

POSITION: DISTRIBUTION - DRIVER

**Educational Requirements**:

- Minimum Grade 12 or NQF equivalent, with strong numeracy and literacy
- Valid unendorsed Driver’s license Code 10 with valid PDP
- HAZCHEM

**Certified Work Experience and Core Competency Requirements**:

- A minimum of 3 years related experience as a Driver with route planning abilities
- Experienced in a 200+ km radius in and around Cape Town / Western Cape delivering stock to retail clients, manufacturing, and processing plants
- Previous experience in chemical handling would be an added advantage
- Good Communication - written, oral, and listening
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high energy level
- Attention to Detail, self-organisation, and integrity
- Conscientious and co-operative and good time management skills
- Exceptional customer service orientation

**Duties**:

- Delivery of products which includes route knowledge, collect delivery documents, organize delivery sequence, pick stock and load vehicle in sequence, offload goods as per invoice shipping address and to ensure that the client receives correct product as per invoice sheet.
- Customer support which includes presenting products to customer in professional manner, allow customer to complete relevant documentation timeously and to ensure client satisfaction.
- Administration which includes recording invoice details on trip sheet, presenting trip sheet for authorization, ensure correct documentation is presented and completed by customer on delivery, collect authorized payments, recording returned goods in driver stock return book and attaching copy to relevant invoice, presenting PODs/payments/trip sheets to manager as well as presenting returned goods, assisting with month-end payment collections, assisting with post office collections and with buy-out collections, decants, stocktaking and assist with warehouse maintenance.
- Vehicle Management/housekeeping which includes ensuring that the vehicle is cleaned once a week and kept in good working condition, conducting daily vehicle safety inspection, adhere to traffic regulations and to drive safely

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lansdowne, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

License/Certification:

- Valid driving licence (preferred)
