Senior Sales Representative: Wound Care Division

Summary

The company wishes to employ a well-established Senior Sales

The Senior Sales Representative will be responsible for the launching,

marketing and sales of advanced wound care products in the public

and private sectors in South Africa.

Minimum requirements

and skills required

Qualification and requirements:

- BSc biomedical health sciences or Nursing
- Clinical knowledge of wound care
- Valid Drivers license
- Worked in Sales environment for more than 5 years
- Working overtime and willing to travel
- Own reliable vehicle
- Own reliable cell phone
- South African Citizen

Skills required:

- 5 years minimum experience in the medical device/supplies

industry with predominantly experience in selling wound care

technologies
- Ability to identify and engage with relevant key opinion leaders
- Have extensive knowledge regarding government hospital

procurement process.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Computer Literacy
- Relevant work experience, including ability to build

relationships with customers
- Excellent presentation skills and able to create presentation

content
- Sales skills
- Driven and energetic self-starter to drive the sales of new

innovative wound care products
- Assist to develop the private sector reimbursement plan

Job function
- Identify and engage with key players in public and private

sector such as Vascular surgeons, Plastic Surgeons, General

surgeons and Professional Nurse Practitioners
- Build solid customer relationships
- Attend ward rounds and dressing changes
- Ensure all activities and sales leads are captures on CRM

- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace

information on pricing, products, new products, delivery

schedules, and merchandising techniques.
- Become highly proficient and knowledgeable with the product

range and the clinical factors associated with these products
- Education of the customer with regards to the technical and

clinical requirements of the products
- Possess and build a good knowledge of competitor products

and activities.
- Assist with clinical trials and data analysis
