**Content Creation and Accreditation Specialist**
**(Fixed Term Contract position)**
Oxford University Press is looking for a Content Creation and Accreditation Specialist to work with the National Workshops, Training and Product Manager to manage the content development process for the Marketing Professional Development programmes as well as ensure Oxford University Press (OUP) remains a SACE approved provider with regularly submitted documentation for workshops attendees to gain their points. To contribute to the overall business strategy to position OUP’s products and educational services in the market and to increase awareness and strengthen the business’ position as a trusted partner in education.
The Content Creation and Accreditation Specialist will be reporting to the Workshop, Trainer and Product Manager. This post is based in Goodwood.
**Principal Accountabilities**:
**Impact & Portfolio of Connected Evidence (PCE)**
- Conduct effective strategic planning, managing and implementation of the Impact and Portfolio of Connected Evidence (PCE) framework by planning and delivering on PCE projects and communicating the results internally.
- Act as Champion for Impact and PCE in the business and execute the agreed projects by eliciting support from other relevant stakeholders in the Central Impact Team as well as Publishing, Sales and Marketing within OUPSA.
**Professional Development & Educational Services**
- Effective strategic planning, managing and implementation of Professional Development & Educational Services.
- Research and report on the Educational Services landscape by conducting environmental scanning, gaining knowledge of competitor offering, understanding accreditation process, and reacting to opportunities - in collaboration with the Professional Development & Impact Manager.
- Optimise opportunities to sell Educational Services through participation in tenders and requests for quotations - in collaboration with the Professional Development & Impact Manager.
- Manage the content development process of agreed core courses offering (and subsequent additions) in line with plan for the development of Educational Services and to ensure a competitive advantage for OUP - in collaboration with the Professional Development & Impact Manager.
**Stakeholder Relations**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with professional organisations, educationalists, relevant education ministries and government departments.
**Compliance**
- Adhere to OUP ethical policies and procedures and codes of conduct
- Degree in Education, Publishing, Management, Research or related fields or post-graduate qualification beneficial
- 5 years’ experience in educational, publishing, research or related field that offers transferable skills
- Proven research skill, project planning and coordination skills
- Experience and knowledge of the SA Publishing industry is advantageous
- Experience in government organisations or non-government enterprises will be considered
- Valid driver’s license (Code B)
- Knowledge of Professional Development landscape
- Knowledge of Schools, TVET and University landscape
- Advanced communication skills, copy writing and proofreading skills, report writing, presentation and facilitation skills.
- Budget planning, monitoring and control, business acumen, global perspective, transformation and employment equity, community involvement, basic understanding of educational system.
- Stakeholder communications and relationship building/networking skills, negotiation skills.
