Key Work Output And Accountabilities

Administration
- Capturing of all billing to hospital patient for each patient.
- Reconciliation of file data.
- Ensure that relevant items are charged according to the charge sheet and box codes are allocated to individual items.
- Data capturing of all theatre charge sheets.
- Assist during bi-annual and annual stock-takes.
- Assist with stock transfers.
- Assist with cycle counts.
- Printing of interim patient statements.
- Capturing of all billing to hospital patients.
- Accurate and timeous billing of private and medical aid accounts.
- Final billing of accounts
- Contribute to keeping debtors days as low as possible.
- Any other duties assigned by the Finance and Admin Manager from time to time.

General
- Ensure all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to.
- Perform various tasks as assigned to you by management.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Education
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification

Work Experience
- 1-2 years' experience in an administrative role
- Previous experience in a Billing or Pharmacy environment advantageous
- ICD 10 and CPT experience advantageous

Knowledge
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Organised and able to multi-task
- Good attention to detail
- Meeting of submission deadlines
- Experience on SAP advantageous
