- We are searching for a dedicated Specialist - Projects who will assume the responsibility of supporting the ORICA PPM process from Estimating of projects and initiatives in the business to data cleansing and adherence/compliance to the ORICA project execution manual for the PPM portfolio in support of the engineering projects group. This role will be reporting to the Senior Engineer Projects.-
**What you will be doing**
- Completing project estimates in line with business needs and engineering concepts;
- Compiling and reviewing BOQ’s with specific vendors for improved estimating of projects;
- Building a library of regional and country specific rates in line with future estimates;
- Supporting and embedding a culture of robust discipline in the ORICA project investment portfolio;
- Generating & Work flowing PPM’s in accordance with ORICA Project Execution Manual;
- Routine reporting of project actual spends against budget and forecast on portfolio level;
- Regional Projects folder compliance and auditing;
- Assets Total cost of ownership calculations - Fixed and Mobile Assets including TCO improvement.

**What you will bring**
- National Diploma / B-Tech / B Degree in suitable technical field (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Quantity Surveying);
- Minimum 7 years’ experience post qualification;
- Previous experience in estimating project activities from both greenfield and brownfield projects is a requisite;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to present strategic logic and recommended pathways, coupled with the ability to present to key stakeholders;
