ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Warehouse Administrator oversee the management of stock within an organization. This includes receiving, issuing and dispatching stock, and handling communication between freight companies and customers.
- Specific duties include but not limited to; _
- Manage all paperwork involved with shipment logistics,
- Cycle/bin count inventory and report any shortages to management,
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment,
- Communicating with Business Development Administrators regarding customer orders.

Ultimately the Warehouse Administrator is responsible for the data entry and inventory of all stock. This involves processing receipts, taking records and documenting the details of all orders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Planning shipments based on product availability and customer requests.
- Tracking orders to ensure timely deliveries.
- Preparing shipping documents i.e. invoices, purchase orders etc.
- Coordinate our supply chain procedures to maximize quality of delivery.
- Schedule shifts for our drivers for deliveries.
- Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers and customers.
- Provide information to Business Development Administrators on their customers orders.
- Receiving and dispatching of stock, ensuring checks are done and that it has been documented in the in and out book with all of the required documentation.
- IBT’s to be done as requested by Management.
- In and out book to be kept up to date daily with all movement pertaining to stores and stock, keep accurate records for all inwards and outwards inventory movements.
- POD’s to be checked every day on return of the Driver and saved onto SharePoint, for deliveries that could not be done, the respective person who initially sent the request to be updated of same and then to be added to the next day’s delivery log.
- Shipments to branches/customers to be arranged accordingly by dispatching all outward goods and inter branch transfers using approved freight providers, processes and in a timely manner.
- Managing all stock movements, investigate and resolve any discrepancies that arises.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean and tidy and that the environment is dust/dirt free, dispose of all rubbish daily.
- Vehicle inspections to be done daily.
- Monthly stock take to be done.

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience as warehouse administrator or similar role.
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness.
- Knowledge of logistics software or transport management systems.
- Coordinating activities that affect operational decisions and business requirements.
- Understanding of supply chain and logistics procedures.
- Ability to Manage Time and Workload Effectively.
- Familiarity with business and financial principles.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Degree in Logistics, Business Administration or related field would be beneficial.
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills.
- Strong Attention to Detail.
- Ability to Engage and Motivate Others.
- Drive to Achieve Results.
- Computer Literacy i.e. Pastel Evolution, BPO, MS Office.

**Salary**: R6,500.00 - R8,500.00 per month
