A digital bank with a strong entrepreneurial identity and a high-performance culture is looking for a Proposition Analyst, who will report to the Managing Executive: Transactions & Savings

Location: Johannesburg, South Africa

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist in formulating the overall strategy and design of products, features and engagement mechanics
- Together with other stakeholders and businesses, research and monitor product and customer trends to inform the ideation and prioritization of new products and features for the portfolio
- Together with Strategy and other stakeholders, develop the business rationale (e.g., value proposition, opportunity sizing) for the new product initiatives, to inform product prioritisation
- Manage the P&L of your product portfolio
- Ownership of the financial models used in Planning and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of models
- Challenge assumptions and identify and drive operational efficiencies
- Manage the end-to-end life cycle of products and its distribution channels, such as ideation, design and management of its features, together with the timely implementation of strategic and tactical initiatives to drive value creation
- Partner together with the rest of the business, the technology teams and technology / product partners to deliver products and features with a distinctive customer experience
- Together with the Sales & Marketing team, formulate the products’ go-to market strategies across segments and channels, and execute efficiently and clinically on it
- Coordinate the “run” of the products and relevant channels in areas such as the operations, customer servicing and marketing
- Assist in developing the strategic external partnerships needed with technology platforms or distribution channels to enable innovative and differentiated products & features
- Liaise on your product category, with the design, development, data analytics and innovation teams

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- At least 2-5 years of working experience in strategy, business. development, product development or management consulting; experience in digital services, marketplaces, superapps or e-commerce is a plus
