**Position**: Assembly Supervisor

**Supervisor**: Production Manager

**Opportunity**:BST are worldwide leaders in carbon fibre and composites engineering, supply, and design for biggest brands in the motorcycle and automotive industries. The BST production team is looking for an assembly supervisor to support the whole organization focusing on production in producing the highest quality product possible and exceed our customer expectations.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide support in wheel assembly and quality inspection throughout the value chain.
- Responsible to implementing quality standards and day-to-day quality control systems.
- Ensuring the assembly station is meeting all production and quality targets.
- Supporting Engineering and Production teams by providing the best solutions for problems relating to quality control requirements and processes.
- Accurate communication and progress reports, as well as troubleshooting and problem-solving in various processes.
- General administrative duties and ad-hoc assignments as may be required from time to time.

**Preferred experience and characteristics**
- 3 years of experience in a production environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Basic understanding of technical drawings
- Technical background degree/diploma with coursework related to project management, quality control and inspection will be advantageous.
- A practical, action-oriented self-starter that can follow directions and work without constant supervision, someone who works well independently and can lead a team.
- Meticulous and accurate with a demonstrated work ethic. Strong accountability and a true ownership mentality.
- Hands on experience in mechanical workshop environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to R15,000.00 per month
