**Job description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct economic impact assessments on Regulations and Government Policies
- Conduct research on local and international economic matters
- Perform trend analysis on economic matters and provide input for strategic decision making
- Collate and draft appropriate reports and provide effective feedback
- Ensure operational incidents are appropriately documented and managed
- Collate and interpret research assessment results
- Ensure risk or weaknesses identified are escalated
- Building relationships with business

**Competencies**:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Problem identification and solution skills

- General IT knowledge and skills

**Minimum requirements**:

- Financial service experience (2 - 3 years)
- Bcom Honours in Economics
- Bcom Honours in Econometrics advantageous
- Specialist knowledge on regulations and government policy advantageous
