**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**KEY PERFORMANCE**
**AREAS CORE ACTIVITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- To coach and motivate employees to achieve sales results and operational metrics _._
- Manage collaborative and cohesive relationships between internal and external customers
- To provide resources to ensure employees can adequately perform their roles (e.g. uniforms, shopper cards, marketing material)
- Ensure that the field operations run efficiently and effectively in line with Company and Client standards
- To own efficiency and quality metrics as set by HOD and National Operations Manager.
- To engage with and support several departments, ie. Finance, IT, HR etc., to ensure operational efficiency
- Help to drive regional growth through launching new coverage areas and shopper acquisition.
- Support the National Operations Managers on special projects for continued operating efficiency and growth.
- Ensure operational activities remain on time and within agreed deadlines
- Manage the customer experience for Dash and/or Marketplace
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures, and complying with our client's legal regulations and protocols.
- To collaborate with and maintain good relationships with external and internal customers to achieve operational excellence
- To handle customer complaints and ensure resolution timeously according to OneCart procedures.
- Promote interdepartmental and regional cooperation.
- Demonstrate flexibility in balancing the achievement of own objectives with abilities to understand and respond to organisational needs.Demonstrate abilities to anticipate and manage change.
- To deliver and manage the area's internal processes, procedures, and compliance.
- To identify, escalate and deliver continuous business process improvements within the area that improves operational execution and manages risks.
- To monitor area performance, identify and monitor trends, report on business performance, and ensure appropriate actions are taken.
- To implement and deliver on store expansion growth targets for the area that delivers on customer convenience
- To implement a people strategy that ensures professional development builds capacity and capability to meet current and future business developments in line with brand talents and transformation agenda.
- Report staff movements and ensure they are tracked and reported weekly to the Line Manager
- To support and deliver the region's retention strategy to sustain the business's staffing needs, with specific reference to critical skills and ensure consistent business performance.
- To deliver adherence to OneCart policies and procedures that are aligned to cooperate governance.
- To lead and manage a team of Supervisors, Shoppers and Drivers to ensure flawless daily service delivery to our customers

- Provide advice and assistance to team members and subordinates.
- Ensure all Onecart employees adhere to Standard Operating Procedures in the stores
- Ensure all Shoppers, Drivers and Supervisors are adequately trained in terms of their duties and the use of various policies and procedures
- Using the Performance Management system ensures all Supervisors and Shoppers are appraised on the performance of their duties and given sufficient training, coaching and mentoring where applicable.
- Assist and attend to escalated Supervisor, Shopper and Driver queries
- Ensure all Supervisors, Shoppers and Drivers adhere to the dress code as per OneCart and Client specifications
- Travelling to all stores to conduct on-site duties as needed
- Ensure Driver compliance within your Portfolio and ensure a regular audit is conducted.
- Ensure all Drivers have the necessary employer branding
- Ensure all Supervisors have valid driver's licenses and transport
- Ensure inventory control (uniforms, bike boxes, helmets, etc.) o Weekly stock count (Done at each store visited)
- **Logistics and Administration**:
- Leave submission and tracking:
- To submit, capture and track all leave for Shoppers and Supervisors
- To give feedback on leave approval or declined to Shoppers and Supervisors
- Payroll overtime and movement report are sent monthly as per deadline dates
- To generate, analyse and act on relevant reports and provide feedback within a specified time frame
- Ensure agreed reports are sent within agreed deadlines to the National Operations Manager
- Manage data collection for updating operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
- Daily call log at 9 am with Line Manager.
