Our client is a prominent player in the hoisting industry, renowned for providing exceptional design, manufacturing, supply, installation, and commissioning services for winders, winches, hoists, and related equipment. With a dedicated team of engineers, project managers, and manufacturing and site personnel, they offer a comprehensive range of products and services, spanning from tailored hoisting solutions to refurbishments, upgrades, and maintenance of existing installations.

**Role Overview**: We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to lead our SHE & Quality team as a Manager. This pivotal role involves the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of our Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) management systems and processes in accordance with applicable legislation and global best practices.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Conduct essential training and familiarization to ensure a thorough understanding of SHE-related requirements by the management team.
- Establish and uphold SHE management legal compliances on all legislated aspects.
- Ensure the currency of all necessary legal appointments within the company.
- Maintain appropriate skills availability and numbers within the department.
- Manage departmental personnel to attain the required levels of performance.
- Keep records of all company SHE statistics as required by management and company policies.- Offer necessary assistance to Heads of Departments (HODs) regarding SHE best practices and compliance within their respective departments.
- Ensure that the Services Department's site safety files, site management, risk assessments, and procedures are in place and maintained.
- Oversee the effective administration of all SHE documentation and records within the company.
- Provide guidance and support to clients and employees on SHE-related topics as needed.
- Ensure timely completion of all incident investigations and reports.
- Develop, implement, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and processes in accordance with legislation, certifications, and global best practices.- Maintain compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) standards (ISO 9001:2015).
- Coordinate and manage all ISO audits, including preparation, follow-up on findings, and reporting requirements.
- Offer necessary assistance to HODs concerning QA/QC best practices and compliance in their departments.
- Conduct appropriate supplier/contractor assessments, screening, and legal compliance audits.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SHE & Quality within the Heavy Engineering/Mining Industry.
- Essential - SHE & Quality Management experience.
- Formal training and experience in auditing Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality Management systems processes.
- Formal training and experience in Quality Management Standards, Systems, and Processes.
- Formal qualification in Safety, Health, and Environmental.
