Front of House and Assistant Night Manager

We are looking for a dynamic, detailed and forward thinking team-member to assist with our front of house and night manager duties. You will be joining an experienced, team-oriented hospitality team, that is committed to providing the highest level of guest service.

Please be aware that the nature of hospitality requires employees to work on weekends, public holidays and after hours.

PURPOSE
- Assist the Hospitality manager with managing the hospitality section of Vrede en Lust an ensuring the smooth running of accommodation both during the day and after hours.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - include the following and other duties may be assigned
- General admin duties - including updating of RoomRaccoon.
- Ensure accommodation bookings required for weddings and conferences are properly allocated and are according to BEO.
- Liase with Night Manager/ functions/ restaurant/ chef regarding guest requests and plans.
- Make sure that guests settle all bills upon check-out.
- Make sure that all correspondence with clients regarding bookings are kept up to date and are accurate.
- Be friendly and willing to do what is needed and have respect towards your company and coworkers.
- Assisting Wedding Co-Ordinator where necessary
- Assisting the Hospitality Manager, Assistant Manager & Front of House in all duties.
- Willing to adhere to any task given by superior, answer calls at any given time and return calls.
- Record and reporting of all incidents at functions, weddings and with guests.
- Safe keeping of lost property after functions and weddings.
- Secure locking and alarming of premises.

**Requirements**:

- Commitment to guest service
- Great interpersonal, communication and supervisory skills.
- Team orientation.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Paarl, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: R9 000,00 - R10 000,00 per month
