Tele-sales department: Managing the consultants. Ensuring they meet their daily targets of calls and trial coolers put out. Guiding them with scripts relevant to businesses or individuals and helping them source leads. Devising strategies to target certain areas or types of businesses and tailoring the relevant scripts. Ensuring they are obtaining referrals when putting out successful trials. Orchestrating call-a-thons and coming up with weekly/monthly incentives. Devising a DO NOT call database to ensure people who request to be removed off calling databases, are actually removed and not called again. Report showing total loans for the month, which reps they were allocated to and conversion rates thereon. Inbound Sales Consultants Managing the consultants. Ensuring abandon rates are kept to a bare minimum as this is a crucial sales line. Gauging high volume periods and assigning resources accordingly. Ensuring professionalism of the consultants at all times and that they are cross selling effectively and also garnering for referrals. Existing database callers Managing the consultants. Setting targets in terms of amount of calls to be made and conversion rates achieved. Crucial quality assurance on calls to ensure our existing clients do not get agitated or annoyed. Instilling the constant customer care ethos that is maintained in the customer care department. Devising scripts to obtain the necessary take up. General Calling functions roles and responsibilities Implementation of formal Quality Assurance processes and procedures governed by DTS. Relevant checklists and auditing of calls to ensure constant compliance. Constant script generation and assessing the effectiveness thereof. Training and coaching of new and existing employees to ensure the high standard is always met and there is constant improvement. Weekly generation of a call exception report to monitor any irregular calls which vastly exceed average call times. Constantly ensuring employees are logged into the relevant calling queues and the abandon rates are kept to a minimum. Sales Reps Daily monitoring and supervision of the Reps. Motivating the sales team and devising strategies to achieve success. Overseeing reps diaries and call volumes to ensure accountability of their time. Constantly monitoring their loan sheets to ensure internal leads generated by the telesales department, passed on to them, are being called timely and appointments made. Target setting. Performance management and counselling for reps not meeting targets. Training and coaching of new and existing Reps. Refresher courses. Management will stipulate targets and performance levels.
