**Responsibilities**:

- Lead all financial administrative tasks for Rental operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in:

- Verifying and processing rental fleet buy-backs.
- Reconciling rental fleet clearing accounts.
- Compiling invoice schedules for rental fleet owners.
- Preparing rental fleet cost/rate calculations and quotations.
- Managing offer to purchase and early termination penalties.
- Facilitating sales and purchases of units.
- Oversee administrative duties related to rental contracts:

- Verify rental fleet contracts.
- Prepare rental agreements.
- Maintain contracts and hypothec filing.
- Manage contract escalations and end-of-term reports.
- Prepare fleet analysis reports for rental customers.
- Handle customer complaints and queries:

- Ensure follow-through and timely communication of results.
- Foster dedication to service excellence.
- Provide timely feedback to customers.
- Assist Rental Supervisor with general administrative tasks:

- Follow up with customers for order numbers.
- Prepare and distribute scheduled and ad-hoc reports:

- Weekly department KPA report.
- Workshop status and load testing reports.
- Marketing campaign reports.
- Data for reports to be submitted to Japan, etc.
- Ensure achievement of predetermined targets/budget for STR.
- Drive customer service excellence:

- Foster good communication with customers.
- Develop partnerships and tailor-made solutions.
- Evaluate own development needs and address knowledge/skills gaps.
- Manage telesales and maintain records/quotes register/advertising.
- Handle daily invoicing and costing.
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation for forklift delivery.
- Reserve, arrange delivery, and collection of STR fleet units.
- Plan and allocate drivers' trips daily.
- Print reports and monitor lease & maintenance costs of rental fleets.
- Liaise with debtors regarding accounts for new and existing clients.
- Balance Rental, Hire, Transport & FMX Clearing Account.
- Create and monitor purchase orders.
- Contribute to departmental growth and operational innovation.

**In order to apply, you must have the following**
- Grade 12 / Matric + minimum of 3 years working in a similar environment with exposure to business financials.
- Tertiary qualification in business administration / finance
- Advanced / Expert Computer literacy in MS Outlook, Word & Excel
- Experience working in Kerridge will be advantageous.
- Strong analytical ability, strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong financial / numerical ability - must have experience and understanding of financial calculations, e.g., loan repayment calculations.
- Strong accounting knowledge, particularly with regards to fixed assets and depreciation calculations
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including very strong verbal and grammatically correct written English & Afrikaans communication skills.
- Ability to interact with senior management, excellent communication skills with people at all levels in an organization.
- Excellent work ethic - honest, reliable, hardworking, dedicated, takes pride in work carried out.
- Highly developed prioritizing and multi-tasking skills; strong sense of urgency; problem solving and decision-making skills; must be able to function effectively under pressure.
- Dedication to service excellence in every aspect of work carried out, strong focus on internal and external customer service.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision and still complete tasks timeously; enthusiastic, self-motivated and can use own initiative; deadline and results orientated.
- Ability to adapt to and accept change, new ideas, new challenges.
