**Head of Engineering**

Rubicon is on a mission to revolutionize transportation through e-mobility solutions. We're looking for a passionate and experienced engineering leader to spearhead our charging infrastructure initiatives, driving innovation and shaping the future of electric mobility.

**About the Role**:
As Head of Engineering for our E-mobility department, you'll be at the forefront of developing and implementing next-generation charging solutions. You'll lead a highperforming team of engineers, oversee all technical aspects of our charging infrastructure projects, and play a pivotal role in shaping Rubicon's e-mobility strategy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide strategic direction and leadership for the E-mobility engineering team.
- Assist with the development and implementation of charging infrastructure projects,

from concept to completion, in collaboration with the Project Manager.
- Oversee all technical aspects of projects, including design, product development,

manufacturing, installation, quality assurance, and maintenance.
- Oversee the operational integrity (hardware and software) of the EV charging

network.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development,

implementation, operations, and business development, to ensure seamless project

execution and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement technical standards and best practices for charging

infrastructure.
- Develop and implement quality standards for products, implementation, and

operation.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies and trends in the e-mobility space.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering

team.
- Represent Rubicon at industry events and conferences.

**Qualifications, Experience & Characteristic**:

- Bachelor's Degree or Bachelor's of Technology Degree in Mechanical or Electrical

Engineering (or a related field) is required.
- 5+ years of experience in a managerial role with a focus on project and people

management, preferably in a dynamic environment.
- 5+ years of experience in the engineering field, with a strong focus on project

management and execution.
- Knowledge and/or experience of ICT technology will be beneficial.
- Experience and/or knowledge of E-mobility infrastructure (hardware and/or

software).
- Proven track record of success in leading and motivating technical teams.
- Deep understanding of electric vehicle charging technology and infrastructure.
- Experience in designing, developing, and implementing hardware and software

solutions.
- Experience in developing technical standards, operating standards and manuals,

maintenance schedules.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for innovation and a drive to shape the future of e-mobility.
- An innate curiosity for new technology and an eye for detail.
- A hands-on approach to problem solving and design is essential

**Advantageous requirements**:

- Experience in the e-mobility industry.
- Experience working with startups or fast-paced environments.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Fluency in multiple languages.
