**Stock Controller - Paarden Eiland, Cape Town.**

Looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Stock Controller to work in an industrial bakery. The Stock Controller will be responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, ensuring accuracy in stock records, and optimizing stock levels to meet demand while minimizing excess inventory. Dayshift position, 6 days a week.

**Requirements**:

- Matric minimum and diploma preferable
- Proven experience in stock control and inventory management, preferably in the food or baking industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and best practices in stock control

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory levels of incoming raw materials
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of raw materials
- Conduct regular stock counts and audits to reconcile physical stock with system records
- Identify discrepancies or variances in stock levels and investigate root causes
- Implement and maintain efficient stock control procedures to minimize shrinkage and losses
- Monitor inventory turnover rates and make recommendations for optimizing stock levels
- Generate reports on stock levels, movement, and trends for management review
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and plan stock replenishment accordingly
- Ensure compliance with food safety requirements (GFSI Standard) and company policies related to stock management and control

Pay: From R7 000,00 per month

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)

**Experience**:

- Stock Control/ Warehouse: 5 years (required)
