- Effective daily planning, organising and control within area of responsibility to achieve daily production, quality and safety targets
- Cost containment through efficient maintenance scheduling/planning and high mean time to failure after repairs
- Effective stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth workflows and target achievement
- Effective achievement of production and daily targets in line with DMR and project scope
- Team and self-understanding and comply with M&RC’s policy and procedures, standard and safety protocol
- Proactive risk identification and mitigation in alignment with legal regulations, the client’s and M&RC standards, procedures and policies
- Effective self and team management in alignment with M&RC values and leadership initiatives

**Minimum requirements**- Grade 12
- Section 26 Artisan Trade Certificate/MIETTB (Mining Industry Engineering Trades Training Board) Trade Certificate through a registered body
- Engineering Foreman Certificate of competence or proof of formal Supervisory training in planning, leading, organising, and control
- MS Office Proficient (Word & Excel)
- Valid EB Driver’s license
- Good English communication skills (Written and Verbal)
- At least 5 years or more mining industry experience (underground and surface)
- At least 5 years’ experience working with electro-hydraulic equipment and gearbox components (testing, diagnosing, fault findings and repairs on mechanical and Hydraulic equipment)
- At least 2 years’ experience acting on a supervisory level as an Engineering Foreman
- Experience in development of planned maintenance schedule
