**Job Title**: Logistics Operations Controller (Night Shift)

**Location**: Bellville

**Position Type**: Full-time, Night Shift (7pm - 7am - might be shorter at times)

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Logistics Coordination**:

- Plan and coordinate the transportation of goods to meet delivery schedules.
- Monitor and optimize the routing of vehicles to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline logistics processes and improve overall efficiency.

2. **Inventory Management**:

- Track and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in inventory records.
- Implement strategies to minimize holding costs while maintaining optimal stock levels.

3. **Communication and Reporting**:

- Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Generate and analyze reports related to key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

4. **Problem Resolution**:

- Proactively identify and address logistics issues, such as delays or disruptions, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges.

5. **Compliance and Safety**:

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Implement and enforce company policies related to logistics and transportation.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field would be beneficial.
- Proven experience in logistics operations, with a focus on coordination and optimization.
- Any experience with cold storage would be highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in the use of logistics management software and tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

**Working Hours**:
This is a night shift position
