Our client for a Export Logistics Manager SeaFreight To establish and lead an End 2 End Export Logistics Team to provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders by ensuring that product demand is received and delivered on time and in full in a cost-effective manner to all our stakeholder. Plan, co-ordinate and control the activities of the Export Controller teams to maintain and enhance customer relationships and meet organizational and operational objectives focusing on Safety, Service, Savings and Sustainability.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that a safety and sustainability culture is entrenched across the End 2 End Logistics Teams
- Define and implement a logistics strategy for exports, in line with the Opco business strategy and Heineken Global Logistics Strategy, to achieve optimal performance in safety, cost, quality, customer service, sustainability, people and organization, and social responsibility.
- Engage cross functionally with multiple functions and in-market leadership teams to support and implement growth strategies.
- Develop and implement Export service policies and procedures.
- Define and communicate operation execution metrics and standards.
- Lead and manage Logistics for all export modes (sea, road & air freight).
- Maintain cost effective management of operations and the efficient utilization of assets.
- Manage third party warehouses.
- Plan, prioritize and delegate work tasks to ensure proper functioning of the department.
- Review stakeholder feedback and track stakeholder complaint resolution.
- Ensure the set-up and implementation of 3 rd party warehousing, its control systems, and maintain high level of customer service.
- Drive continuous improvement in department.
- Develop sound business relations with Suppliers, Service Providers, and external Stakeholders.
- Promote synergy in internal operations across functions (Sales, Regions, Commerce, Supply Chain and Finance), through establishment of sound routine and social practice.
- Attend and actively participate in Heineken Regional and Global best practice share and learn sessions.
- Follow Heineken Beverages’ policies and procedures and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

**Skills**:

- Understanding the complexity and legalities of Liquor Exports per country including Customs and Excise
- Knowledge of in bond movements and storage.
- Sound Computer Literacy (MS Office suite, SAP).
- Embrace learning & growth

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant Degree in related field is essential.
- Minimum of 10 years related experience within a FMCG industry.
- Experience in translating departmental strategies into clear plans to achieve results and monitors progress and ensures that corrective action is taken.
