**Key Responsibilities**:

- Strategic and technical leadership and direction to support the delivery of effective testing
- Analysis and definition of effective test strategy and approaches for a variety of delivery and technology landscapes, ensuring cost-effective testing solutions balanced with business and technical risk
- Provide exceptional guidance and support in defining test strategy, process, techniques, levels, organisation, tools/frameworks/technologies, infrastructure, environments, and data across a variety of delivery and technology landscapes and methodologies, balancing a delivery and commercial focus
- Define and support the implementation of complex test frameworks to support areas such as Automated, integration, and continuous functional and non-functional testing
- Setting up test automation
- Extracting data for test reporting
- Remain at the forefront of delivery, testing, and technology developments to provide support and guidance to adopt these to improve testing effectiveness and efficiency pragmatically
- Provide support and guidance to test delivery teams and individuals rather than drive day-to-day delivery
- Deliver large-scale test programs across multiple workstreams, clients, and delivery methodologies

**Key Skills / Experience**:

- With a demonstrable background in the management and hands-on delivery of exceptional test processes and practices in a variety of complex delivery landscapes, you will now use this wealth of delivery, solution, and technology experience to be an exceptional Test Architect
- As a technologist as much as a tester, you will have the ability to work at senior/strategic and lower level process/technical/tooling levels
- Ability to collaborate and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders, resources, and teams
- Exceptional understanding of technology and testing, including common solutions and architectures, emerging technology and testing trends, and test techniques/technologies/tooling
- Your passion for testing and technology means you are always one step ahead in terms of the latest developments in areas such as continuous delivery and testing, Javascript-based testing tools and frameworks, continuous performance, microservices, containerisation, and DevOps practice
- Current experience of working with Visual Basics and SQL

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics
- ISEB or ISTQB (Formal Testing Qualification)
- Minimum 5 years of Test Management experience
- Test Management experience in managing end-to-end testing on projects.
- Test Management experience in working with a large testing team
- Experience in defining testing strategies, and approaches
- Experience in working in DevOps testing tool and Extracting Data for Test Reporting

**Salary**: R50,000.00 - R60,000.00 per month
