**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Reading and understanding tender documents and briefs thoroughly to identify all deliverables, challenges, and problem areas
- Assist in the production and submission of a creative yet compliant bids and (re)tenders that clearly state and sell defined product models and business solutions
- Create a Bid project plan and tracking of progress including all deliverables for all role players and stakeholders
- Preparation, formatting of proposals, team agreements, and presentations when necessary
- Assist the sales teams to deliver new business through understanding bid requirements in documents for all sectors
- Update and refresh content on the Sharedrive portal
- Keeping a record of submitted bids on the share drive
- Note any cancelled or withdrawn bids on the joblist
- Organise all the statutory company documents requested for all tender submissions
- Assist the business development managers in compiling winning bid strategies
- Tailor the tender response document according to the chosen strategy, ensuring key messages are included (Executive summary assistance and editing)
- Create innovative and striking write ups/materials that will be prominent in a competitive environment, whilst adhering to the company's CI guidelines

- Self-motivated - Reliable - Persistence and tenacity - Team Player - Ability to plan ahead and be aware of all the different factors which need to be brought together (including timescales, stakeholders, the bid team and the collation of content). - Excellent Attention to Detail - Deadline Driven: ability to set personal deadlines which incorporate key milestones and production times - High energy levels - Strong communications skills; confident and articulate in all communications i.e. verbal, telephone and written - Written proficiency in English with excellent interpersonal and communication skills -Excellent written, formatting, eye for detail and business language comprehension - Strong customer focus and able to work under pressure on multiple simultaneous projects

**Qualifications**:

- Appropriate tertiary qualification in business development, marketing, project management and or linguistics
- Minimum 5 years experience in coordination of Bid processes
- APMP membership and certification is a distinct advantage
- Demontrated knowlege and expertise in the services and or related industry
