**Requirements**:

- Qualified Dental Technician formally trained at a recognized institution to a NQF level 6 qualifications in dental technology
- Current registration with the SADTC
- One year experience in crown and bridge work
- At least 1 year experience in CAD/CAM will be an advantage
- Experience of teaching will be an added advantage

**Duties**
- Teaching, training and assisting dental students with their preclinical and clinical laboratory work
- After-hours work to support academic activities may be required
- Working with under and post-graduate students
- Production of fixed appliances and removable appliances, as well as orthodontic appliances
- Production of implant supported prostheses
- Ability to perform under pressure and deliver on time
- A focus on improved pre-clinical and clinical teaching
