SoMax(we) are looking for an experienced (2+ years) finance professional contractor, a team player who wants to push themselves and is passionate about their career. You will possess a good combination of client-facing skills, an analytical & technical aptitude to understand a finance team’s requirements to implement & integrate our cloud-based finance software.

**Experience/Qualifications**
- Qualified accountant (possibly part qualified) with any of the following bodies, or equivalent to (AAT/ACCA/CIMA/ICAEW/SAIPA/IAC/SAICA/AGA)
- You will be IT proficient and have a good understanding and have used Finance Software (SAGE/XERO/QuickBooks, etc.)
- Proficient in the use and manipulation of spreadsheets (Excel, etc.,)
- Seeking a career change from a pure finance professional to a consultancy-based role, or already in a finance consulting role.
- Be able to communicate clearly with finance professionals and have a good understanding of the roles they undertake in organisations
- Practical experience working in any of the following areas:

- Management & Financial reporting
- Understanding of finance business processes
- Either have delivered or undergone an implementation of a finance management software
- Ability to remain objective and goal-focused under pressure
- Organised, methodical and conscientious

**The Role**

Your training will involve a blend of Online Learning & shadowing customer Implementations for you to acquire the following key deliverables of your role.
- System Configuration
- Data Migration
- Delivering Workshops
- Delivering Training

Once your training in the software is complete you will undertake continuous learning so that you acquire the necessary skills to undertake your own implementations which include but are not limited to the following
- An in-depth knowledge of the Software
- Provide customers with best practice advice on making full use of the software’s capabilities
- Providing both non-technical and technical support to customers
- Guide SoMax clients in optimising their processes through our best practices
- Successfully deliver the solution within the scope, time, budget and quality
- Collaborate with other SoMax consultants
- Learn the capabilities of the software to translate innovative ideas to solutions
- Maintain up to date skill set including attending training when required
- Continually contribute towards the Company knowledge base for the enhancement of Company services provided
- Maintain accurate timesheets for the purposes of calculating fees chargeable
