**Purpose of the job:Â**
To promote brand awareness and grow the company's market share in the golf cart market in terms of the sales of batteries, tyres and related offerings. This includes providing support in respect of sales, administration, stock control, and rendering the highest standards of customer service focused on achieving departmental targets.**Requirements:Â**
- Matric or equivalent technical qualification.Â
- Recognized qualification in Sales and Marketing or equivalent (NQF 5 / 6 Level) would be advantageous.
- 3 years as a Sales Representative, or similar type role, within the business development environment.
- Knowledge and experience of the golf industry would be advantageous.Â
- Computer Literacy (Basic MS Office).
- SAP, ERP Systems and other job-specific software systems would be advantageous.Â
- Communication skills (both verbal and written).Â

**Duties and Responsibilities:Â**
Sales and Business Administration:
- Develop a strategy and plan for the development of the Golf Cart market to ensure market penetration for the company and its products.
- Canvass and open new customer accounts based on their viability as future customers.
- Monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales per customer using the Sales Management process.
- Provide regular feedback to the Autocycle Business Manager on all activities relating to customers and sales activities (Achieved and planned).
- Introduce new marketing and promotion ideas and assist the customer in aligning their business needs to the product and service offerings of the Company.
- Host regular product awareness events in order to promote the product and grow/develop customer relations.
- Initiate and monitor all promotional activities in order to develop and grow the existing customer base and market share in consultation with the relevant Manager.
- Support debtors with the effective, timeous collection of outstanding debtors' monies and ensuring that all outstanding debtors are less than 45 days at all times.
- Ensure that vehicles and other company equipment are maintained in accordance with company policy and procedure.
- Provide feedback and status of new business to Business Manager in scheduled meetings and report feedback.

Stock control:
- Liaise with Warehouse personnel on an ongoing basis to ensure optimal availability of stock in an effort to resolve any outstanding queries.
- Monitor buying patterns of all customers to assist in the forecasting of stock requirements.
- Assist customers in the management of their own stock levels and mix.

Compliance:
- Operate within controls and procedures in order to ensure the integrity of AutoX.
- Identify and reports risks or areas of concern to management within the area of responsibility.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures to prevent fruitless, wasteful, and irregular expenditure.

Customer service:
- Maintain effective working relationships with employees and customers to render highest quality of services.
- Resolve problems whilst demonstrating a high level of integrity in line with the company core values.
- Ensure daily and weekly discussions take place with CLO and other stakeholders to ensure that all customer queries are followed up and satisfactorily resolved.
- Provide regular presentations and training to customers on products and pricing to ensure that the customers are kept up to date with technical product changes.
- Assist customer liaison department with maintaining customer base by updating customer information when necessary.
- Provide the customer with stands, point of sale material, claims and rotation procedure training.
- Update customer database by providing new information regarding new customers and/or updating existing information.

 Cost control:
- Support the effective and transparent use of financial and other resources.
- Ensure correct pricing structures are in place at all times.
- Manage and monitor gross profit on a daily basis, and implement remedial action plan, if necessary.
- Reduce operational costs by optimising company resources (cellular phone, vehicle) and curbing unnecessary expenses.
- Limit expenditure, reduces costs and ensures deviations from budgetary limits are reported to direct Manager.
