- This role reports directly to the People & Organisation Director Novo Nordisk South Africa and the geographical scope of the role is, South Africa.**The position**
- As a HR Business Partner at Novo Nordisk, you will Partner with P&O Director, management team members and key people managers in the identification of critical employees’ capabilities and competences, organization development and structure needs and opportunities, coordinate the relevant activities to conceptualise the solutions, prepare and execute agreed activities to ensure that business objectives are met.- Your Main Accountabilities will be:
- Ensure that employee life cycle related processes (from recruitment and on-boarding, through performance management, salary and benefits reviews, people development, till employee contract termination) are delivered in the most effective way and in very close cooperation with all relevant stakeholders to drive the high level of employees’ engagement and well-being, but also to fully utilized organisation potential.
- Contributing to deliver the overall strategic direction for the P&O department and overall business objectives, through lens of people processes.
- Act as sparring partner and trusted advisor to middle management and when necessary to Leadership Team members, but also act as a change champion, facilitator, coach, internal trainer, internal communicator depending on the needs and level of competency.
- Serve with inputs to the internal employee related communication planning and executing activities.
- Planning and administering activities concerned with recruitment, training and development, compensation and benefits, mobility, talent acquisition, diversity, talent management & organization development.

**Qualifications**
- To be successful in this role, you need to have University Degree in Management, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field, and minimum 6 years of experience in human resources, with broad knowledge of all HR disciplines. Proficiency in English is required.- To be effective in this role, you should have:
- Demonstrated, measurable improvements in staffing, talent management and compensation & benefits
- Proven ability to effectively coach employees and management through complex and difficult issues
- Strong change management experience
- Analytical as well as strategic mindset
- Ability to understand the implications of business challenges and translate them into HR focus areas and initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to successfully interact with stakeholders at different levels
- Proven ability to work with leaders to influence change
- A "can-do" mindset, with the ability to balance people and business objectives
