**Scope & General Purpose of the Job**

The Junior Facilities Coordinator for the maintenance and general upkeep of equipment and facilities at client sites. They must have worked in commercial, industrial, or residential spaces, performing maintenance duties themselves, or contracting service providers. They also carry out preventative maintenance and are able to report accurately to Key account managers and client representatives.

**Qualifications | Minimum**

Minimum requirement is Matric and diploma.

**Experience | Essential**

Must have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience as a facilities coordinator.

**Line of Reporting & Communication**

**Responsible to**:Key Account Manager

**Responsible for**:All soft services (catering, cleaning, hygiene, pest control, security, plants)

**In communication with**:Client and Key Account Manager

**Key Performance Areas**:

- Oversee Food, cleaning and hygiene and security services are running effectively on a daily basis.
- Scheduling preventative maintenance tasks, reacting to maintenance emergencies effectively.
- Maintain physical space of the office, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment
- Acts as liaison between client and any outside contractors needed to resolve specialized problems.
- Establishing protocols for non-mechanical maintenance.
- Delegating maintenance tasks to be outsourced and overseeing work carried out.
- Monthly reporting to CSG Key Accounts Manager and acting as a liaison with the client’s Facilities manager.
- Establishing H&S policies and procedures and making recommendations for improvement.
- Ensuring basic tools and machinery are in working order through regular inspections.

**Additional Skills Requirements**:

- Valid Driver’s License
- Physical strength and good hand-eye coordination.
- Excellent customer service and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication skills and reporting feedback to all stakeholders.
- Proficiency in excel and writing skills.
- Must bring strong business acumen and demonstrable networking skills.
- Knowledge of the facilities industry; the trends, challenges, and innovations.
- Ability to respond to building and equipment emergencies.

**Disqualifiers**:

- No valid driver’s licence
- No working experience as a facilities co-ordinator

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From R1.00 per month
