**Payroll Manager Job Spec**
**Contractor Payroll Processing**
- Review all signed and authorised timesheets received from Clients and Contractors
- Review all signed and authorised expense sheets received from Clients and Contractors
- Creating of bill statements/ Payslips
- Liaising with Contractors regarding their payroll, payslip or any other ad hoc queries
- Double check contractor bank information
- Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
**Client Invoicing**
- Reconciliation of all Client invoices due for payment from QuickBooks and CRM systems and send through to the Client for payment
- Ensure payment remittance is received from the client before any payments are made to contractors
- Ensure that the amount received from the client matches the invoices submitted to the client for payment and reconcile, differences to be queried with client
- Update the payment reconciliation with all invoices due for payment
- Ensure client payment terms are reviewed and updated on the system
**Reporting**
- Assisting with the Company Profit Report
- Process the Timesheet and Invoice Report on monthly basis
- Process Client Statements on a monthly basis
**General Duties**
- Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
- Prepare and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
- Identify and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
**Required Skills and Abilities**:
- Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with payroll software.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: R20,000.00 - R25,000.00 per month
