**F and G Sourcing Specialist** is assisting a reputable **Branded Household** client that is seeking a skilled **Supply Chain Planner **to join their company that is based in **Fourways, Johannesburg**.

**Salary**: R23000-R25000

**OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE**:
The incumbent will be responsible for assisting the Supply Chain Management Team in meeting both departmental and corporate objectives. This individual will have the opportunity to become an instrumental part of the daily supply chain activities including reporting, analytics, purchase order creation and maintenance, stock management, forecasting and supplier management for the Department.

**Requirements**:

- Fluent in English
- **A minimum of 5 years’ experience working with planning**
- **Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance or Business - preferred**
- Solid analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Extremely well organised, self-disciplined and deadline driven
- Self-motivated
- **Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization**
- Willingness to work in a team environment.
- Handle multiple activities simultaneously and ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks
- **Proficient user of Microsoft Office Tools: Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint, and Word**
- Experience in a major retail planning environment will be an advantage
- Strong reporting skills
- ERP integration and Supply Chain Management Tools (Planning / Allocation).
- Project management experience

**Responsibilities**:

- Achieve 1.5 months’ stock holding overall (mix between KVI, non-KVI and new products)
- Achieve the company objective of a minimum 95% fill-in rate
- Management of stock ageing and distressed stock
- Pro-actively report stock shortages to sales and marketing team
- Evaluate forecast vs. sales figures monthly and adjust ordering accordingly
- Meet at least monthly to discuss stock levels and demand plans with relevant product managers
- Perform various forecast analysis as needed
- Participate in weekly supply planning meetings
- Assist business planning team with various forecasting and analysis as needed
- Collaborating with Sales, Marketing and Shipping to determine allocation priorities in support of business objectives
- May participate in projects within the greater Supply Chain Operations organization. The position will interface with both operations and planning teams
- Formulate strategies and market research for direct deliveries
- Regularly inform and update other departments of significant changes or problems relating to demand and return pattern.
