We have a superb opportunity for a Senior Bilingual Copywriter to join the Marketing team at a leading company working in the property sector, based on-site between their Pretoria HQ and Randburg office.

**Responsibilities**:
General Day-to-Day
- Work closely with Digital team to optimise content for Search campaigns, SEO and Social media, in line with targets for optimal ROI
- Monitor metrics related to our content where AB testing has been applied, like web traffic and conversion rates.
- Social media platform management and content creation.
- Work closely with Group Communications Manager to optimize content for communication cycles across all brands for customers and partners, as well as internal staff campaigns.
- Must be comfortable interviewing clients, industry experts, business partners, executives/CEOs, and internal teams to develop content.
- Researching industry-related topics and analyse competitor content to identify gaps in our content.
- Provide guidance on images/visuals to align with content.
- Create straplines, slogans, body copy, scripts etc.
- Be able to obtain a good understanding of brands, products, and target audiences in a short space of time.
- Create copy that attempts to persuade the target market to purchase or use our products and services.
- Oversee the production phase, liaising with designers, printers etc. to ensure content is correct.
- Edit, fact-check and proofread copy as needed, even generated by colleagues.
- Ability to write in different styles and tones in order to reach a variety of audiences.
- Ensure all content is up to date.
- The ability to multitask on several projects.

- Marketing and communication content for our Rewards program for Estate Agents
- Campaign and communication content to our internal staff

- Content for Training material
- Any ad hoc content may be required.

**Requirements**:

- A relevant Degree (or equivalent) in Communications
- Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Journalist and in-house Writer
- Previous experience with a large Print Media organisation, i.e., a magazine or newspaper
- Financial writing experience - highly advantageous
- Previous social media management experience
- Portfolio of published articles/pieces
- Excellent writing skills and a keen eye for detail
- Bilingual and able to write in both English and Afrikaans
- Strategic and creative thinker
- A high-level of the English language and wide vocabulary
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative problem solver with the ability to disseminate technical information
- Able to multitask
- Curious
- Good listening skills
- Strong research skills
- An ability to write creative copy both for large pieces of content (e.g. product descriptions) and smaller texts (e.g. social media posts)
- Solid time-management skills.
