We are a leading provider of motor vehicle repair services, dedicated to delivering high-quality repairs and exceptional customer service. As part of our commitment to excellence, we are currently seeking a diligent and well organised Parts & Stock Controller to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Ordering, Receiving, and Issuing Stock**: Efficiently manage the process of ordering automotive parts and materials, receiving shipments, and issuing stock internally as per the repair requirements.
- **Organised Stock Room Maintenance**:Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient stockroom to ensure easy access to required parts and materials.
- **Administration and Computer Literacy**: Demonstrate excellent administration skills and proficiency in computer systems to manage stock records, update information, and generate necessary reports.
- **Team Collaboration**:Actively participate as a team player, supporting colleagues and collaborating across departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- **Stock Level Monitoring**: Regularly check stock levels, anticipate demand, and ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained to support repair activities.
- **Paperwork and Documentation**: Complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly when ordering stock, receiving shipments, and updating stock information in the computer system.
- **Quality Control**: Compare items received against items ordered to ensure accuracy and quality control standards are met.
- **Process Improvement**: Identify opportunities to implement or improve processes and procedures related to stock control and inventory management.
- **Reporting and Inventory Management**: Compile daily reports, address inventory discrepancies, and maintain accurate records of pricing, purchases, and other relevant information.
- **Random Checks and Audits**: Perform regular random checks and audits to ensure stock accuracy and compliance with company policies.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in parts and stock control, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Excellent administration skills and proficiency in computer systems, including inventory management software.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to maintain a neat and organised stock room.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and willingness to go the extra mile to support colleagues and meet company objectives.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with suppliers, colleagues, and customers.
- Problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
