**Line management**:This position will report directly to the Head of Marketing, and have a “dotted” reporting line to the Head of Partnerships and Sales.

**Position Overview**:
As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and implementing strategic marketing plans to drive Namene brand awareness, generate leads, and increase sales across sub-Saharan Africa. You will be responsible for managing a team of 3 marketing managers
- based in Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe, overseeing various regional and country specific marketing campaigns, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve global and country specific organizational goals. Your expertise in project management, marketing strategies, market research, and brand management will be key in executing successful marketing initiatives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and execute strategic marketing plans: Collaborate with senior management to define marketing objectives, identify target markets, and develop comprehensive marketing plans to achieve business goals.
- Brand management: Develop and maintain a strong brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging, visual presentation, and brand guidelines across all marketing channels.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with the marcomms team, business development, commercial sales, product development, and other teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives. Collaborate on brand activity, product launches, sales promotions, and other joint initiatives.
- Market research and analysis: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends. Analyze market data, competitor activity, and consumer insights to drive informed marketing strategies.
- Marketing analytics and reporting: Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, website analytics, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Team leadership: Lead and manage a team of marketing managers, providing guidance, coaching, and support. Assign tasks, set performance goals, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Budget management: Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment (ROI).

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a manager / leader in a marketing focussed role or related field.
- Experience working into Southern Africa and in multi-cultural contexts an advantage
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
