Front Office Manager

Luxurious winelands hotel requires a dynamic and refined Front of House Manager to lead their team.
**JOB SPECIFICATION**
**Primary purpose of the job**
To supervise and control all Front areas and ensuring smooth and efficient operations in the department to the standards laid down by the Company, maximising revenues and profits to agreed budgetary limits.
List of qualifications, experience, training and competencies required for the job.
**Minimum **Qualifications**:
- Matric Certificate
**Experience**:
- 3-5 years’ relevant front of house or related experience
- 3 years’ solid customer service experience
- Proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel & Outlook
**Competencies**
**Customer and Personal Service** — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
**Administration and Management** — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in planning, resource allocation, leadership, and coordination of people and resources.
**Education and Training** — Knowledge of principles of training, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of effects.
**Public Safety and Security** — Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
**Time Management** — Managing one's own time and the time of others.
**Problem Sensitivity** — The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
