**The Opportunity**:
It's an exciting time to join OfferZen, and the Engagement team in particular. You will help us define our online/in-person/hybrid event strategy. You'll get to work with a variety of partners across SA and the EU, building a solid network within the event organiser community. You'll be exposed to new and different markets with their own unique dynamics and communities. We have a high standard when it comes to our events, and you'll work with our swag logistics manager and designers to make sure our experience goes to the next level.

**What you'll do**:

- Manage project plans, workflows and timelines for each event
- Book venues and coordinate with suppliers ensuring all event collateral and/or gifts are received and distributed
- Work closely with our marketing teams to ensure we achieve our event marketing goals
- Oversee content production, sourcing and work with high caliber speakers that will resonate with our target audiences
- Work closely with our Experience Designer to ensure we deliver optimal attendee experiences that drives key event metrics
- Maintain event budgets and ensure proper post-event spend reporting
- Own the event retro process ensuring we capture learnings, update processes and report on events to internal stakeholders
- Anticipate and ensure compliance with GDPR/POPI requirements.

**You'll be a great fit for this role if you have**:

- University degree in communications or marketing advantageous
- 5+ years experience in event production OR project management with a proven track record of success
- Project management certification (advantageous)
- Experience in producing world-class event content, working with speakers to craft their stories
- Proven ability to secure and work with high-quality speakers
- Good knowledge of online conferencing and engagement tools and platforms e.g. Livestorm, Zoom, Crowdcast, Hopin.
- Experience working within a high growth tech startup/scale up is preferable
