Technical Trainer

RCL FOODS is on the lookoot for a Technical Trainer to join our Chicken division. The role will be based in Rustenburg and report to the Regional SHEQ Manager. RCL foods is looking for a highly organized and skilled individual who can deliver results, meet the customers’ expectations and work well under handle pressure
**Duties & Responsibilities**
Work closely with the Plant Manager and the processing team leaders to determine, develop and implement technical training initiatives to improve daily productivity and operations and develop the technical skills of all technical (engineering) plant-based employees.
Act as liaison between employees, team leaders, managers and the Centre of Excellence learning and development team for non-technical training and development requirements.
Assess training needs related to new equipment and new technology.
Provide training and orientation in equipment updates/improvements and amendments to standard operating procedures to management and represented employees at the plant.
Plan and conduct technical orientation training of all new plant employees.
Create and maintain technical training records on all plant-based employees.
Maintain a complete technical reference library for plant-based staff.
Produce requisite reports for the Plant Manager on technical training activity using agreed HR and Processing performance indicators.
Inform relevant parties in the event of tasks or deadlines not met, the potential risks thereof and provide appropriate resolution.
Manage colleagues and employees’ expectations and communicate appropriately.
Apprentice program management as well as planning and organizing of all SHERQ Legislative training.
**Minimum Requirements**
Diploma or at least one year certificate in production management/engineering or equivalent qualification
3 years relevant experience in a technical role in a similar environment
