**Job Purpose**
To partner with business to improve organisational performance through the co-creation of a self-led learning culture, where employees are enabled and capable to perform in their current and future roles.
**Responsibilities**:
- Continuously improve and innovate the design of the Nedbank learning framework in alignment with Nedbank's strategic goals and embed within the business to drive enterprise learning direction, goals and policies
- Track and monitor strategic People Effectiveness actions to create the defined learning culture
- Provide effective thought leadership, innovative thinking and strategic advisory services to Nedbank Clusters on People Effectiveness practices and processes
- Lead a team accountable for overall planning, implementation and effectiveness of PE strategies and initiatives
- Design, develop and implement enterprise-wide PE programmes and processes that build skills and capabilities to support organisational transformation
- Establish high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency
- Ensure ongoing compliance and maintenance against internal and external policies, procedures and governance within the SA context
- Establish, direct and maintain a learning management system that ensures effective learning outcomes
- Measure learning success in relation to enterprise goals to determine the ROI of learning
- Initiate and embed the Nedbank leadership philosophy
- Conceptualise and lead strategic leadership initiatives
- Ensure effective delivery of leadership initiatives in partnership with vendors
- Ensure alignment of business PE objectives and plans to enterprise leadership initiatives
- Establish capability frameworks and processes for enterprise PE community
- Build PE capability across the enterprise
- Oversight, quality assurance and governance of enterprise PE practices, processes and initiatives
- Tracking, monitoring and reporting of enterprise wide initiatives
- Build a high performing team through effective resource and talent management
- Ensure that the strategic agenda has been embraced by the team through ensuring relevant strategies and plans have been communicated and implemented by direct reports
- Manage performance of direct reports through effective performance objectives, regular and honest performance feedback, coaching and taking corrective action as required
- Actively build a culture of continuous improvement and create an environment whereby self and team are encouraged to challenge the status quo
- Actively build a culture of client centricity
- Equip and develop the COE PE (learning) team to keep abreast of leading edge PR (learning) principles and practices
Minimum Experience Level
10-15 years in learning and development, 5 years of strategic learning, including 5 years managing others.
Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
- Professional Qualifications/Honour’s Degree
Preferred Qualification
Masters in Industrial Psychology or relevant Degree
Essential Certifications
- Registered Industrial Psychologist with HPCSA, Society of Industrial and Organisational Psychology of South Africa (SIOPSA) membership, PAI membership
