Offering an exciting job opportunity for an **Technical Desiger** at a fast growing company. The position offers remote working flexibility and the salary for this role is based on past experience. Please note this company uses **Revit **so this experience is advantageous and the applicant must have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.

The company is looking for someone who is deatil orientated and has strong technical skills and is able to work with the Creative Designer on the technical packs. The applicant must have at least 3 years of technical drawing experience and be able to use their initiative when working.

**Job Purpose**

**Working directly **with the Design & Build team both locally & internationally, alongside the Head of Design, to bring the companies vision and spaces to life. Working on the technical drawings and packs will be the main function of this role. It requires style & excitement to spark creativity and an energy for fast paced deliverables.

**Overall Duties and Responsibilities**

The Tehcnical Designer has a responsibility to work as a team to take direction from the lead designer to bring the vision to life by creating detailed technical packs and drawings. They are expected to undertake the below tasks but not limited to, while working closely with the rest of the Design & Build Team to guard the brand look & feel in the centre builds.
- Understand project requirements & brief
- Do all technical packs and drawings
- Research and select project materials and products in a decisive and timely manner in accordance with the Lead Designers vision
- Assistance in space planning & test fit proposals for clients
- Full drawing packs for construction
- MEP co-ordination
- Create accurate schedules for purchasing
- Work with 3D artists to produce realistic renders
- Sourcing and research of new suppliers to be used
- Meet with South African suppliers
- Set and achieve deliverable deadlines and give regular updates on progress

**Basic Requirements**

**Qualifications, Skills & Experience**
- Qualification & skills
- Relevant Interior Design Qualification
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Excel
- Experience in Revit & Inscape is advantageous
- Ability to read & interpret architectural, engineering and mechanical drawings
- Understanding of interior design documentation
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Problem solving and creative solution skills
- Works well under pressure and can multi-task
- Concept design & presentation
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work well under mínimal supervision but is also a team player
- Strong time management
- Adaptable to change
- Multiple project management skills

- Physically capable of lifting and moving objects as necessary
- Experience
- Min 3 years of experience in the Interior Design industry (preferably hospitality) as a technical designer
- Look & feel presentations, space planning, tender drawings, construction drawings, joinery drawings, client liaison, RFI’s and schedules, sourcing & styling

Pay: Up to R20 000,00 per month
