**General requirements: -**

Your ability and exceptional underrating of accounting principles and work efficiently and effectively with Xero and Simple Pay (or similar) is a pre-requisite. As a divergent thinker you will be expected to generate creative ideas by exploring many possible solutions to our company’s accounting needs.
- Must have Matric and suitable port matric qualification or be studying towards it;
- Must contribute to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of our accounting needs;
- Creativeness, risk aversion yet being progressive in your actions, should be at the heart of your contribution to the company;
- Must show attention to detail;
- Must have exceptional organising ability;
- Operation of the department in order to help the company be cognisant of its financial position at all times.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -**
- Preparing weekly Financial feedback to the directors;
- Attending all payments for company and estate/trust;
- Reconciling company bank account to Xero;
- Effective and efficient liaison with company accountant;
- Attend to payroll for staff and directors;
- Reviewing of expenses, payroll records;
- Expense and Income forecasting and budgeting;
- Updating of all EFT deposits;
- Preparing all Income and Expenses and importing into Xero;
- VAT reconciliations and Submissions;
- UIF payments;
- Assist company accountant with company tax submission;
- Preparing invoices and following though of payment;
- General office administration;
- Organising and updating a proper filling system for all bank statements;
- Effective record keeping and filing;
- Good with numbers and figures;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
