Auto Pedigree is looking for Debtors clerk for its Head office in Gauteng Province. This position is an ideal opportunity for someone who is trustworthy and pays attention to detail. The position reports to the Financial Manager.

**Position Overview**:
The purpose of the position is to support and assist the Financial Manager in the allocation of payments and following up of monies due to the Company.

**Specific Role Responsibilities**:

- Ensure accurate documentation is received for the payout of cashbook items.
- Ensure compliance with company policies as well as regulatory acts (VAT Act) before processing and payout of cashbook items.
- Monthly filing of remittances and substantiating documentation.
- Ensure accurate recording of the transaction in the accounting information system.
- Capturing and allocating payments correctly in the debtors module.
- Resolution of account related queries.
- Processing of journal entries. Identifying and venturing into new revenue streams.
- Ensuring customer escalation is managed and feedback is provided.
- Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales

**Qualifications and Experience**:
**Minimum Experience**:

- 2 years of relevant Finance experience.

**Minimum Qualification**:

- Grade 12
- Diploma/degree in accounting/finance (preferred)

**Minimum Requirements**:

- A code 08 unendorsed driver’s license and own transport
- Computer literate
- Have experience with excel.
- Have working experience with Automate (Desired)
