**Essential requirements, qualifications and experience**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing / Communications / Public Relations (NQF 7) or an equivalent qualification.
- Honours Degree in Marketing / Communications / Public Relations (NQF 8) or an equivalent qualification will be an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in Communications and / or Corporate Relations/Public Affairs.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant management experience in / leading Communications and / or Corporate Relations/Public Affairs operational teams.

**In addition, the following competencies (skills and behavioural attributes) would be important**:

- Advanced proficiency in effectively conducting video conference meetings (Skype, Zoom, Teams).
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),

**The role with report to the Public Affairs Executive (PAE). The role requires the ability and willingness to travel, work long hours, over weekends and public holidays where necessary.**
