Appointment Setter for Financial Advisor(Remote)

Johannesburg, South Africa Independent Financial Advisor Full time

We are looking for a cold calling agent/appointment setter with a proven track record of setting up meetings for potential clients. This position is also open for students and entry level graduates with minimum experience and looking to get industry experience.

**The following characteristics and level of experience is required**:

- The ability to work independently and professionally.
- Good telephone etiquette
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A can-do attitude with the ability to build relationships over the phone
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook

**Responsibilities**:

- Setting and diarising appointments with potential clients through cold calling and referrals.
- Hitting appointment-setting goals/meet deadlines
- Basic administrative functions
- Maintaining accurate records
- Building knowledge of the company’s products

**Non-Negotiables**:

- Proven experience in a sales environment
- Ability to work in a home environment that is private and free of distractions (i.e. no barking dogs, television noise, music, children, etc.) and be able to devote full attention to the prospect during work hours

**Technical / Computer / Workstation Requirements**:

- Computer: An Intel Core i3 or more (or AMD Equivalent) with at least 8 GB of RAM and 50 GBs of Free Storage Space or Mac Equivalent.
- Headset: Noise Cancelling Headset
- Webcam: For Work Meetings

**Remuneration**

Basic Salary of R5 000 (to be reviewed after 3 months)

**Salary**: R5,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
