The intern will gain GIS experience by investigating the most recent ESRI GIS products and capabilities; using GIS products to assist and learn directly from GIS professionals in their daily processes, analysis, and presentation.

***Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at an accredited College or University.
- Must be pursuing a degree in Geomatics, Geography, Geology, Environmental Studies, or any related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Exceptional multitasking and time management skills.
- Undeveloped Understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
- Willing to learn, energetic and proactive
- Must be willing to sign an internship agreement.

**The main roles and responsibilities**:

- Processing existing aerial imagery datasets and extracting data for statistical analyses in photogrammetry packages (e.g. ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, Micro Station).
- Spatial data collection, cleansing, manipulation and capturing including digitizing.
- Provide mapping and conservation planning in support of various projects.
- Perform Spatial Analysis.
- Provide monthly training progress report.
- Perform various technical activities in line with training plans.
