**Position**:Roaming Beauty Consultant

**Department** : Sales

**Reporting to** : Area Manager

Location : JHB, Cape Town and Durban

**Purpose of the Role**

The purpose of the role is to drive sales by providing an exceptional client experience aligned to brand standards and to consistently build and maintain the brand and retailer image by adhering to respective brand guidelines, policies, and store operating procedures.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**BUSINESS PERFORMANCE**
- Consistently achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Track individual sales targets consistently and build clear actions to close deficits/exceed targets as required.
- Drive sales in store by utilising company and brand tools, product knowledge, processes, and guidelines.
- Assist in setting up and driving sales at events/promos.
- Ensure that all events, campaigns, and launches are executed in line with respective brand guidelines.
- Provide feedback on sales/counter related issues or concerns.
- Adhere to all Company and Retailer policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all stock management procedures and processes are followed.
- Ensure that stock is merchandised according to brand merchandising guidelines.
- Know your stock versus tester ratio and report out of stocks to Area Manager daily to drive sales and maintain stock availability.
- Monitor competitor activity and provide feedback to Area Manager.
- Know your in-store ranking and build actions to improve ranking.

**BRAND MANAGEMENT AND EXECUTION**
- Increase brand awareness and image - using product knowledge, educate clients on products and ensure implementation of the brand client journey.
- Ensure adherence to grooming and uniform guidelines at all times.
- Ensure that counter hygiene standards are maintained according to brand standards at all times.
- Ensure that visual merchandising standards are adhered to.

**CLIENT EXPERIENCE**
- Uphold and reinforce the Client experience standards.
- Consistently provide an exceptional client experience in line with brand standards and guidelines.
- Build relationships and loyalty with clients.
- Pro-actively increase customers through active engagement in store (attraction of NEW customers).

**REPORTING AND ADMINISTRATION**
- Complete tracking sheets (stock, sales, testers etc.) and submit weekly to Area Manager.
- Complete all progress reports required and submit timeously.
- Ensure that counter file and administration is up to date at all times.

**TEAMWORK**
- Work in collaboration with other store team members to drive and execute overall sales targets and provide support at all events, promos, and activations.
- Support and assist new team members with onboarding and orientation.
- Build relationships and work harmoniously with respective retailer and store team to achieve key deliverables and ensure an optimal working relationship.
- Work harmoniously with all internal and external stakeholders.

**LEADERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT**
- Manage own personal development through performance management and individual development plan (IDP). Request training and feedback on performance and strive to improve based on these interventions.
- Upskill oneself regularly - ensure participation and completion of all brand and company development initiatives and programmes.
- Uphold and adhere to the Company's values - live these values in all interactions.
- Take personal responsibility for all issues facing the department and work as a team.
- Communicate with your line manager regularly and make recommendations on improving efficiencies and the client experience.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS**

Fluency in English - speaking, reading, and writing

Excellent communication skills

A passion for cosmetics and sales

A solution seeker who takes initiative

An optimistic attitude and excellent work ethic

A deep appreciation for diversity - ability to work with people from all walks of life

Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays (retail working hours)

Must be willing to travel to different malls/store locations - a travel allowance will be provided

Must have own transport

3-5 years relevant cosmetics retail experience - preferably sales experience in skincare

Beauty/Skincare qualification is advantageous

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 6 months
