Key Accounts Manager

**Minimum requirements for the role**:
- A tertiary qualification in Business or Chemistry related discipline is preferred but not essential for this role.
- Previous experience having worked within the personal care raw material industry is essential for the role.
- Previous experience managing key accounts and developing new business is preferred.
- The company is happy to look at employing a technical person with personal care experience into a key account role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skills are essential.
- Computer literacy with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.
- Managing key accounts and developing new business with existing clients within the personal care manufacturing industry.
- Negotiating the best achievable commercial agreements for product sales to achieve budget/sales targets and in line with business, marketing, and pricing policies.
- Reporting regularly on business in the designated markets and regions, identifying any threats or opportunities as they arise.
- Visiting customers in order to explain, promote and recommend products within designated markets and regions.
- Coordinating projects and development work with customers.
- Updating sales forecasts as required and providing an annual budget for the territory or key accounts.
- Assisting in the promotion of new and existing products by attending exhibitions and undertaking marketing projects as directed by sales management.
- Working closely with procurement and research and development departments regarding new product technology
- Reporting back to senior management on a monthly and quarterly basis regarding the customers and the current market situation.
- Attending regular meetings with the global team regarding new product development and raw material forecasts.
**Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
