**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Route Planning and Optimization**:

- Assign delivery routes to drivers based on order volume, location, and time constraints.
- Utilize route optimization software to enhance efficiency and minimize delivery times.
- Adjust routes dynamically to account for traffic, weather, or unforeseen delays.
- **Driver Coordination**:

- Communicate with drivers to provide real-time updates and instructions.
- Monitor driver performance and delivery progress throughout the day.
- Address driver issues, such as vehicle breakdowns or location challenges, to ensure successful deliveries.
- **Customer Communication**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer delivery inquiries.
- Provide customers with delivery updates, including ETAs and changes to schedules.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues related to delivery in a professional and timely manner.
- **System Management**:

- Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules, routes, and completed deliveries.
- Use dispatch software and GPS tracking tools to monitor fleet movement.
- Generate reports on delivery performance metrics and suggest improvements.
- **Problem Solving**:

- Quickly address and resolve issues that arise during deliveries, such as route diversions or incorrect addresses.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff, drivers, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations.
- **Compliance and Safety**:

- Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns and delays.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate’s or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field (preferred).
- **Experience**:

- 1-3 years of experience in logistics, dispatching, or related roles.
- Familiarity with last-mile delivery operations is highly desirable.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficient in dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and route optimization tools.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
