The Commercial Administrator at Traderoot plays a critical role in supporting the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the Commercial team. The Commercial Administrator is responsible for the effective management of commercial data, for the co-ordination of commercial activities and for ensuring the seamless flow of information between the Commercial team, customers and other internal teams within Traderoot. The Commercial Administrator plays a key role in developing strategies to ensure that commercial targets are achieved and that high-quality customer interactions are maintained. The Commercial Administrator needs to have relevant experience within Commercial department administration.

**Primary responsibilities**
- **Commercial documentation**

Prepare and manage commercial contracts, commercial proposals, RFP responses and quotations for clients.

Ensure commercial documentation is completed accurately and in full, including the terms and conditions on all documents.
- **Customer relationship management (CRM)**

Maintain and update the CRM system with client information, commercial activities and progress in achieving commercial strategies.

Assist in managing and organising the commercial pipeline, tracking leads, opportunities and stages of commercial strategies.
- **Communications support**

Co-ordinate internal and external communication with regard to commercial inquiries, requests and issues.

Co-ordinate communication between Commercial team members and clients, ensuring responses are delivered promptly and professionally.
- **Co-ordination of meetings and events**

Schedule and co-ordinate commercial meetings, client presentations and conference events.

Assist in preparing agendas, materials and presentations for meetings.
- **Commercial reporting**

Generate regular commercial reports and analyses to evaluate key performance metrics, commercial metrics and progress towards achieving commercial targets.

Assist in analysing commercial data to identify trends and opportunities.
- **Commercial support**

Provide administrative support to the Commercial team with regards to processing of client orders, co-ordination of logistics and following up on client requests.

Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date commercial records and databases.
- **Training and onboarding**

Assist new Commercial team members by providing training on commercial tools, processes and systems.

Assist with developing training materials and resources for Commercial team members.
- **Inventory management**

Monitor and manage inventory of promotional materials needed by the Commercial team.

Co-ordinate the distribution of promotional materials to Commercial team members as needed.
- **Customer service**

Address client enquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner.

Collaborate with the Commercial team to ensure they are providing exceptional customer service.

**Skills**
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Excellent proposal and RFP response writing
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Problem-solving skills with a pro-active attitude
- Proficiency in market research
- Knowledge or experience within the SADC region or African Fintech industry

**Job requirements**
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce or a related field
- Minimum of 3-4 years in roles such as writing proposals, responding to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and other commercial documentation
- Experience with CRM system management and use
- Prior experience in diary management for senior professionals
- Prior experience in conference events calendar management
- Prior experience in market research
- Exposure to the African Fintech/payments sector is advantageous
- Competitive market-related salary

Pay: R12 000,00 - R18 000,00 per month
